GG and NG
GG and NG in both teams to score betting
GG in both teams to score betting means each side scores at least once, whatever the final result. A 1-1 draw, a 2-1 home win and a 1-3 away win all land GG. NG wins whenever one team finishes on zero, so 0-0, 2-0 and 0-1 are NG results.
Nigerian bookmakers list the market as GG/NG, BTTS or both teams to score. All three names mean the same bet and settle on the same 90 minutes. A 0-0 draw is the clearest NG result, and it settles the bet at the final whistle.
Today’s list shows one side per match: GG when it reaches 50% or more, NG when it falls below.
The numbers
How each both teams to score chance is set
Each both teams to score chance blends two readings. The bookmaker’s GG and NG prices, with the margin taken out, carry 65% of the weight. The goals each side scores and concedes in its league table carry the other 35%. Both readings use the same 90 minutes the bet settles on.
A home side scoring 1.8 a game against an away side conceding 1.5 points towards GG. Two sides that both keep clean sheets in four matches out of ten point the other way.
Strong starts at 65% and Fair at 55%. A GG call at 58% is therefore Fair, and a call at 52% shows as Lean.
Tomorrow
BTTS predictions for tomorrow
BTTS predictions for tomorrow join the list as each match page is written, about a day and a half before kick-off. Midweek European fixtures usually appear by the evening before.
Team news matters more for GG than for most markets. One missing striker can turn a GG call into a close one, so open the match page on the day and compare the price with the one shown here.
Tomorrow’s list follows the same order: the strongest call first, Lean calls at the bottom.
NG
When NG is the better side of the market
NG is the better side when one team rarely scores away from home or the other rarely concedes at home. NG prices are often longer than GG prices in top leagues, so a correct NG call pays more.
An NG call at 60% priced at 1.90 implies only 52.6%, a price longer than the chance. A ₦2,000 stake at 1.90 returns ₦3,800.
NG also wins on a goalless draw, which makes it a natural partner for low-scoring matches where under 2.5 is the goals pick on the match page. Cup ties where one side parks the bus away from home are typical NG matches.
Record
BTTS results from the last 7 days
BTTS results count every Strong and Fair call once the final score is in. GG and NG share one record, because each match carried a single call on the list.
The BTTS predictions today join this record the morning after, with GG and NG calls counted together. A missed GG call usually comes down to one side failing to score in the last 20 minutes.
A late goal decides many GG bets, so a week can turn on two or three stoppage-time strikes. Read the rate over several weeks, and set a stake that leaves room for a run of near misses.
BTTS FAQ
Does an own goal count for BTTS?
Yes. An own goal counts for the team it is credited to, so it can complete GG even if that team never scored itself.
What is the difference between GG and over 2.5?
A 1-1 draw wins GG but loses over 2.5. A 3-0 win lands over 2.5 but loses GG. The two markets overlap only when both teams score and the total reaches three.
Do extra-time goals count for GG?
No. Both teams to score settles on 90 minutes plus stoppage time, the same way as the picks here.
How is GG written on a Nigerian slip?
Most Nigerian bookmakers list it as GG/NG under the main markets, and some call it Both Teams To Score. GG is yes, NG is no.
